Winner, Winner!

Oaky, I put everyone into the drawing--including a couple of you who left me messages about not being able to leave a comment--and used random.org to pick a winner.

Winning comment is:

Yay! Congrats Heidi! You can email me at gingerwilliamsphotography (at) gmail.com and we can arrange to get this box to you!

Thanks so much to everyone who entered! And if you didn't win, be sure and sign up for My Scrapbook Nook's Back to School classes. There will be lots of prizes given away, 1 for each of the many great classes, and the grand prize is a 6 month subscription to My Scrapbook Nooks Kits! Very awesome!

Finally, here is my last August layout for Scrapbooks.com today. I had a ton of fun using We R Memory Keepers Out and About line on this layout about Ty's first loose tooth. The little monster is by American Crafts--I just loved his little teeth sticking out! And if you can believe it--I stamped on this project! I almost never do that--but these cute little vehicle stamps were just begging to be used, so I stamped that airplane in the upper left corner, I then cut him out and added him to the page with pop dots! :)

Anyhow, have a great day everyone!

Another Quick Layout Share Today...

Busy Saturday here today. Lots of deadlines coming up and lots of good family fun squeezed in between them. So this will be a real quick post with just another one of the layouts I did for Scrapbooks.com this month.

It is another that features the Imaginsce B-day Bash line--which I *heart* So stinking cute! I'm going to have to make some cards with it too!

This is Spencer's 3rd birthday--so I'm all caught up on his birthday's now :)
Wish I could say the same for the other two!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Oh, and there is still time to get into my big drawing from the post below. I'll be using random.org to select a winner on Monday morning! Good luck!

In other fun news, My Scrapbook Nook is getting ready for their Fall Back to School University. It is going to be an entire month of free scrapbook classes with lots of prizes and a one big contest where the winner will receive a free 6 month subscription to the Nook kits. Very awesome stuff!

On the home front, school started this week. Ty is now a big 3rd grader and Blake is a Kindergartner. I had a hard time when Ty started Kindergarten, however, Blake is so ready--he didn't even really need me the first day and was perfectly content to let me go.

So, I didn't cry.

Well, at least not over having Blake start Kindergarten....this got me a little misty though....

As we were walking into the school Ty put his arm around Blake and started to tell him not to worry about a thing. He was there to help him find his class. He then proceeded to give him tips about what to do at lunch and recess. It was very sweet! Ty is an awesome big brother to both Blake and Spencer.

And last for today, a little something I did for my August assignment at Scrapbooks.com. The papers are We R Memory Keepers and for the title work I had a little fun with my Cuttlebug.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all comment to win and I can ship off this giant box of stuff soon!

Fall family Mini Sessions

It's that time of year again! Time to get on my calender for Fall Family Mini Sessions. If you want me to do family photos for you this year, this is your one and only chance as I has turned almost all my photography efforts towards Wedding/Bridals/Seniors Etc.

This year my mini sessions will be on Saturday October 23rd.

I will have 5 morning sessions which will be held at the Mercer Botanic Gardens:

8:00am
8:30am
9:00am
9:30am
10:00am

and 5 afternoon/evening sessions which will be held at Spring Creek Park

3:30pm
4:00pm
4:30pm
5:00pm
5:30pm

The cost will be $25 which will include aprox. 10-14 full resolution photos on CD. These slots will be given away on a first come first serve basis Starting September 1st. Do not call/email for a slot before Sept 1st. This is my way of being sure everyone who wants one has an equal chance of getting a slot. :) Last year they were all gone in just a couple of days. These sessions are aimed at getting a family photo(s), individuals of each child, a group shot of the children, and a couple shot--plus a few extras if we have the time.

Just to give you an idea what each location is like here is a little look at a few photos from last years mini sessions. Up first is the Mercer Botanic Gardens:

Create your own video slideshow at animoto.com.

And most of these sessions are from Spring Creek Park:

Hopefully that will help you choose which location you would like to use :)

Also, I just wanted to post a layout I did the other day for scrapooks.com. I *finally* scrapbooked Spencer's first birthday! It only took me 2 1/2 years to get to it! I actually have a hard time scrapbooking birthdays for some reason--however, Imaginisce's new line "Birthday Bash" just seemed perfect for it! I actually have another layout using this line to show you where I did Spencer's 3rd birthday..but that will be coming on Monday most likely.

He reallly enjoyed having his own cake, and he made a giant mess out of it!

Well that's it for today!

Crazy Busy Week!

It has been super busy around here lately--lots of projects, lots of photography stuff, lots of assignments, lots of family things, lots of good news, and lots of good old fashioned fun.

And it has all kept me from blogging, but I had a quick moment to spare tonight so I though I'd share a quick peek at a little of the above.

On the photography front was a fabulous wedding of these two very happy people.

Emily and Devein's whole wedding was just beautiful--and they both glowed throughout the day. The reception was truly gorgeous with Emily's perfect touches of sunny yellow tastefully splashed amongst black and white accents with damask patterns. The live band was a lot of fun and brought a great retro flair to the whole evening. It was a lot of fun to be there are to enjoy the lovely atmosphere and wonderful people! I'm having a good time editing the photos and I'll have more to share in a few days.

And real quick before I've got to go, here is a little peek at some Christmas cards I did awhile back...I know...Christmas cards in the summer...but I saw these cute stickers at Hobby Lobby and they were speaking to me so I made a few quick and easy cards... I know I'll be glad they are already made when it comes time to send teacher Christmas gifts to school! :)

Simple but fun!

Gotta run now! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Tuesday!

Well, normally I don't much care for Mondays--however, yesterday was a rare wonderful Monday for many reasons. One of those reasons was that this was announced here.

I get to do a short guest design term with Bella Blvd!

I loved their latest release at the recent Summer CHA! Such fun and bright collections that are right up my ally! I don't think I could pick just 1 favorite, but I can narrow it down to 2. Let me see if I can show some images...here we are:

I'm so excited! I loved all 6 of their upcoming collections, but these two stole my heart! I'm very excited to work with Bella Blvd!

Thanks for letting me share my excitement again!

Some Things Just Come Easy To Blake!

I wanted to do another quick share of another of my July layouts for scrapbooks.com today. I wanted to get this one up earlier, however, for some reason or another I just haven't gotten around to it yet. This is another layout using primarily Basic Grey's new Oliver line--a favorite of mine!

I expected that teaching Blake to ride a Bike without training wheels would be hard. It took Ty some serious practice and a good few weeks to really get the hang of it. Blake on the other hand, just took off! We removed the training wheels and helped him keep his balance a few times while he got started--but that was about it. He had it down that first day of trying and he has never looked back. I think he is just has a fearless nature! He certainly can keep us on our toes!

Anyhow, here is the exact journaling: "Riding a Bike came very easy to you Blake! In fact we hardly had to help you out at all. We simply removed your training wheels, and Daddy gave you a little bit of help getting started. After just a few minutes you were riding all by your self with no fear of falling. We were amazed how easy it was for you to learn!"

Thanks for stopping by today!

I've Been Keeping A Secret...

and it has been really hard! But I am so excited to announce that I am joining the Pebbles Inc Design Team!

I first found out about their design team call after returning from our long trip. I went back and forth about deciding to apply as I didn't have any of their newer collections on hand and I didn't have much time to order any on-line. I've admired their more recent collections from afar for quite awhile, but no one around here seems to carry them, not even scrapbook.com where I do most of my online shopping-I'll have to ask them if they can fix that!

Anyhow, I finally decided to jump in with my older products and a little bit of older stuff Hobby Lobby had. You can see the projects I did if you scroll down a little bit. My favorite project was this wall hanging I did for Blake. The colors and sentiment just seem to fit the way I feel about him so well!

Having used older projects I really didn't expect to make the team and was over the moon when I found their acceptance in my inbox! Goes to show you just never know--and that if you never try, you may miss out on a lot of opportunities!

I want to thank Pebbles for taking a chance on me--I'm so excited to work with them and get to know the other ladies on the team! This next year is going to be a grand adventure! A special thanks to those who have called/emailed me their congratulations! You are all so sweet!

You can take a look here to see the Pebbles Inc Blog. You can check out their products and see who else is on the team.

Well, thanks for letting me share my excitement! And have a great day!

Quick Layout Share Today

It is super hot around here today, so we will be mostly hanging out indoors. Maybe we will add a trip to the library or something. Whatever we do though it will be indoors! I'm hard at work on a big project at the moment so not much time for a long post, but I did want to post a recent layout.

This is a Valentines tradition of ours I wanted to scrapbook. The papers and large letter stickers are Bella Blvd. The small letters are some very old Scenic Route letters I pulled out from my stash of old alphabets. Buttons are SEI and Basic Grey. I used my cuttlebug and some craft foam to cut the hearts and foam flower. This is very loosely based on a sketch by Becky Fleck.

Journaling: When I was little my Mom used to give us special treats on Valentines Day. She would leave them next to our plates to find and eat at dinnertime. This was part of the way she would let us know she was thinking about us and wanted to show us she loved us as well as Dad on Valentines Day. I love this tradition, and about three years ago, started to do it with you three boys. This year you each got a giant marshmallow lollipop which I let you gobble down as soon as I snapped these photos! Thanks for being my little Valentines boys! I love you! Feb 2010

So that's it for today! Thanks for stopping by!
